What is Mylanta Tonight?
Calcium and magnesium are naturally occurring minerals that are necessary for many systems in the body. Calcium and magnesium are sometimes used as antacids to relieve heartburn, acid indigestion, and upset stomach.
Simethicone allows gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines to come together more easily, which allows for easier passage of gas.
Mylanta Tonight is a combination antacid, anti-gas medicine used to treat heartburn, indigestion, gas and bloating, or stomach discomfort caused by overeating.
Mylanta Tonight may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Follow all directions on your medicine label and package. Tell each of your healthcare providers about all your medical conditions, allergies, and all medicines you use.

What should I avoid while taking Mylanta Tonight?
Avoid taking other medications at the same time you take an antacid. Some antacids can make it harder for your body to absorb certain drugs, making them less effective. Take your other medications at least 2 hours before or 2 hours after you take Mylanta Tonight.
The ingredients in Mylanta Tonight are contained in many other combination medicines. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before using any other stomach medicine or antacid. Taking certain products together can cause you to get too much of a certain medicine.
